If you have an electronic product that you no longer need, we encourage you to dispose of it responsibly.

Some older products may still be suitable for reuse. Charities, community organizations, schools, and other individuals may accept working or repairable electronic equipment. Before recycling a product, consider donating, selling, or repairing it to extend its useful life.

If your product cannot be reused or repaired, responsible recycling is the best alternative. Please check with your state or local government for recycling programs, disposal requirements, and restrictions in your area.

Proper recycling helps prevent potentially harmful materials from entering landfills and reduces negative impacts on the environment and human health. Do not dispose of televisions or other electronic products with ordinary household waste where prohibited.

State Recycling Information

California residents

When purchasing certain new electronic products in California, including televisions and computer monitors, consumers may be required to pay a recycling fee based on screen size.

The fee supports the collection and recycling of covered electronic devices and helps prevent potentially harmful materials from entering landfills.

Michigan residents

SKYWORTH USA works with MRM to provide recycling opportunities for eligible Panasonic-branded televisions distributed by SKYWORTH USA.

New Jersey residents

SKYWORTH USA works with MRM to provide recycling opportunities for eligible covered electronic devices in New Jersey.

Under the New Jersey Electronic Waste Management Act, eligible consumers may recycle covered electronic devices without being charged a recycling fee.

Covered electronic devices may include televisions, desktop or personal computers, computer monitors, portable computers, desktop printers, and desktop fax machines, subject to the definitions and exclusions established by New Jersey law.

Consumers who cannot transport a covered electronic device to a collection site, including consumers with bulky devices, may be eligible for collection or pickup options. Contact MRM for current availability and requirements.

Before Recycling Your Product

Before donating, returning, or recycling a connected television or other smart device:

1. Sign out of streaming applications and other accounts.
2. Remove personal information and saved account credentials.
3. Perform a factory reset in accordance with the product instructions.
4. Remove batteries, accessories, and external storage devices where applicable.
5. Confirm that the recycling location accepts your product type and screen size.
6. Follow the facility’s packaging, transportation, and drop-off instructions.
